HIV AIDS 2012 Conference Preparations Underway

The International HIV AIDS ISHEID (International Symposium on HIV & Emerging Infectious Diseases) organizers offer program information for the May 2012 Conference in Marseille, France.

Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, May 07, 2011 -- The Organizers of the 2012 International HIV AIDS ISHEID (International Symposium on HIV & Emerging Infectious Diseases) and Alain Lafeuillade Chairman, are pleased to announce the topics for the 2012 conference to be held in Marseille, France. The symposium is scheduled for May 23 through 25, 2012 and supported by the French Agency for AIDS Research (ANRS).

Doctor Lafeuillade notes: "These topics go from universal HIV testing to the search for an HIV cure, and will address purely scientific issues and public health, health system management, and access to care issues."

The eight members of the steering committee and the nineteen members of the scientific committee are professionals and internationally known authorities in the HIV field. Countries represented include France, Italy, Germany, United States, Canada, Australia, Sweden, UK, Cyprus and Spain.

According to Doctor Lafeuillade, "The 2012 International HIV AIDS ISHEID Conference will be an important step in the global fight against this pandemic." He continues: "This biennial conference will gather scientists and doctors working in the field of HIV, as well as policymakers, community representatives and others committed to ending the epidemic."

More than 2000 participants are expected to attend this biennial HIV AIDS conference. Key opinion leaders from Australia, USA and Europe have agreed to present lectures during the three-day conference.
