IAPAM Comments on the Importance of Pharmaceutical hCG

The IAPAM reports on the dangers of improperly sourced hCG for medical weight loss programs, and educates physicians on how to safely source hCG, and how to effectively and profitably deliver an hCG Diet and Weight Loss Program to their patients. One critical success factor is to attend expert training through programs like the IAPAM’s hCG Training Program.

Las Vegas, NV, September 28, 2011 -- Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) for weight loss is everywhere on the internet. One cannot google "hCG" or "hCG diet" without seeing these sensational headlines: "Lose 1-2 LBS/DAY Buy hCG," "Lose 23 lbs in 23 Days For Only $70," or "Buy hCG Here - Save Up To 72%." However, as Jeff Russell, Executive Director of the IAPAM comments, "it is quite amazing that so many people want to put their long-term health at risk by answering an internet or Facebook ad, or watching a YouTube video on hCG. It is equally disconcerting that so many physicians launch hCG Medical Weight Management Programs, without being properly trained in administering an hCG Protocol, sourcing hCG, understanding patient selection criteria and patient testing, and the common medical contraindications for hCG."

To meet the need for this type of in-depth, physician-led hCG training, the IAPAM has developed an exclusive program for physicians looking to add hCG and Medically Supervised Weight Loss programs to their existing practices. The IAPAM's hCG Training (http://www.hcgtraining.com) is offered the Friday before each of the IAPAM's Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona. The IAPAM's next hCG training sessions will be held on October 21, 2011 and December 2, 2011 in Scottsdale.

Mr. Russell also comments on the controversy surrounding homeopathic hCG. "There are a myriad of 'hCG' distributors in cyberspace, who do not warn consumers about the potential health risks associated with taking hCG and engaging in an associated Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD). The bottom line is that hCG is an FDA controlled substance and requires the prescription of a physician. You have no idea what is actually in the hCG you buy on the internet, and you could be risking your health by doing so," cautions Mr. Russell. The IAPAM's faculty has developed a program where all the critical issues associated with hCG and the IAPAM's Exclusive hCG Protocol are discussed. The IAPAM is the only physician-led training association to offer education on how to safely and successfully add hCG and Medical Weight Management to a medical practice.

Fly Over Michigan's Fall Color in a Hot Air Balloon

Fall color season is fast approaching and there's no better way to see the colors than from a hot air balloon. Michigan balloonists offer a stunning platform from which to enjoy this once a year feast for the eyes.

Plymouth, MI - September 28, 2011 -- “Michigan's fall colors are off the chart beautiful from a hot air balloon" says Scott Lorenz, President and Chief Pilot of Westwind Balloon Company of Plymouth, Michigan. (http://www.PureMichiganBalloon.com)

The palate of colors just takes your breath away," says Lorenz "I love taking photos from the balloon especially when we fly over Kensington Park, it’s fabulous, it’s ten times better than driving. People just have no idea how pretty it is until they get above it."

Want to get a preview of a flight?” asks Lorenz, “check out a video I put together of some of our fall color flights. The views are spectacular as we glide over the tops of the canopy of trees. There’s no better way to enjoy Michigan’s fall colors than from a hot air balloon.” Check it out at: http://youtu.be/1R-QsurhW6M

Most hot air balloon rides in Michigan last about one hour and Lorenz flies over the woods and streams of Kensington Park and Island Lake State Park in Milford and Brighton. He and several other pilot friends meet at Park 'n Ride area off Milford Road and I-96 (exit # 155) about 2 1/2 hours before sunset. From there he'll launch helium balloons, determine the wind direction, then take a short drive to one of nine launch sites in the area that give the best views and best landing sites downwind.

What to wear? Lorenz suggests passengers wear tennis shoes and jeans. He says the air temp “upstairs” is within a couple degrees of ground temp so it’s not a factor. Cameras and video cameras are highly recommended to preserve the once in a lifetime moments while flying over the countryside.

Since fall color balloon flights are popular Lorenz suggests people call now to reserve a spot. Flights cost $695 for a private ride which is two passengers and the pilot. All flights are pre-paid. Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover and PayPal are accepted. Gift certificates are available.

To really appreciate all of the fall color that Michigan has to offer, call a balloonist and schedule a flight today, the view is really better from above!

New Sales Manager joins ESCATEC to help drive aggressive growth plans

ESCATEC, the EMS innovator, has recruited Stefano Losa as Sales Manager for ESCATEC Switzerland.

Heerbrugg, Switzerland - September 28, 2011 -- ESCATEC, the EMS innovator, has recruited Stefano Losa as Sales Manager for ESCATEC Switzerland. Stefano combines considerable sales experience having worked in senior sales roles at IBM and Cicor with an in-depth understanding of electronics from his academic studies in Neuchâtel. He will be responsible for managing the team of Key Account Executives that supports the existing customer base in Switzerland as well as driving the development of new business.

I am really excited about working for ESCATEC,” explained Stefano Losa. “Their business model of having R&D, production and sales all together in one unit ensures that everyone works together in order to provide outstanding service for customers. It is important to have your finger on the pulse and be aware of everything that is going on from innovative new production techniques through to changes in lead times of components. Customers come to ESCATEC for their contract manufacturing needs because they know that we differentiate ourselves by providing exceptional quality and customer care at a competitive price.”

Stefano's appointment is a key part of ESCATEC’s recently announced plans to increase its Research and Development operations significantly over the next five years growing the headcount from 30 to 200 and the turnover from $4 million to $40 million. This will enable the company to provide a fully integrated product design and manufacturing service that covers every stage from taking the initial idea for a product through R&D to product design, prototyping and then volume production in the company’s Asian facilities.

As companies increasingly outsource non-core competencies such as R&D and prototype design, they are looking for partners that they can rely on as their company reputations rest on these being done to the highest possible standards,” added Gerhard Klauser, General Manager at ESCATEC Switzerland. “Stefano and his team will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our relationships with customers to deliver the quality of service and exceptional customer support that we are famous for, and that will enable us to continue to grow our business.”
